Hello! My name is Mikako. Nice to meet you.

I was born and raised in Akita. I lived there until last year. In winter, it is very cold and snows heavily in Akita. I think both of Niigata and Akita have similar weather. I want to adapt to the life in Niigata as soon as possible .

I like music. I was a member of brass band club. I played the trombone in junior high school and the trumpet in high school. I enjoyed practicing and playing  music with my friends for six years. Now, I play the trombone in Niigata University Orchestra. I want to continue enjoying music!

I began to cook for myself since I entered UNP. When I lived with my family, I hardly cooked. At first, I could not make a meal well. However, I have tried to make a meal every day, so I feel my cooking skills are improving. My favorite dish is omelet rice. I’m looking forward to cooking many kinds of meals.
