I went back to my hometown Akita last weekend to choose a furisode. I went to kimono shop with my mother and grandmother. I tried to wear many kimonos of various colors. In the end, I was able to choose furisode I like. My coming-of-age ceremony is going to be held in 2024, but I'm looking forward to seeing my old friends now!
In that evening, I ate kiritanpo for dinner. Do you know kiritanpo? It is Akita's local food. People who live in Akita often eat kiritanpo in winter. I ate it in a long time. It was delicious. I want to eat it again when I go back to Akita next time.
